The Story Behind Team GoGo

Sometimes a dream shows up early, and for Indigo, that dream has always been dance! Even before she could speak in full sentences, she was moving with rhythm and joy, dancing through the house with a light that couldn’t be missed. What started as playful twirls quickly turned into a powerful passion.

Indigo, lovingly known as GoGo, has been dancing since she could walk. From her very first steps, dance became her favorite form of expression. It’s how she connects, how she heals, and how she shines.

In the fall of 2019, that light dimmed for a moment. Indigo became suddenly ill and spent several difficult weeks recovering. While her hospital stay was short, her journey back to full health took time, with months of follow-up visits and healing. Watching our always-moving little girl be still was heartbreaking, but even then, her spirit remained strong.

As soon as she could, she danced again. From that moment on, there was no turning back. Dance became not only her joy but also her anchor. Over the years, she has grown into a confident, expressive, and talented performer, using movement to speak when words fall short.

Now, at just seven years old, Indigo is a proud competitive dancer. She trains several days a week, travels to perform, and pours her heart into every single routine. After performing at Nationals, she began receiving invitations to take on new opportunities, including solo work, advanced choreography, and national stages across the country.

To help her reach her fullest potential, our family moved to Florida, where she now trains in a studio that nurtures her growth daily, and she’s thriving.

Team GoGo was created to surround Indigo with the support she needs to keep dancing toward her dream. It’s more than just a name—it’s a growing community of people who believe in her journey and want to be part of it.
